Ergo Man
I'm tired. Over a decade working on an ergonomics standard, then it gets repealed. Bush gives us an embarassingly anemic "comprehensive program" and what do we have for all the work. Not much except millions of ergonomic injuries every year.Well, Jay Herzmark, AFSCME Local 1488 member, industrial hygienist to the stars, and all around mad scientist says "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em."
If you can't make them fit the workplace to the worker, let's just remake the worker. The result: ERGOMAN .
Why didn't anyone think of this before?
