The Communications Workers of America (CWA) seems to be the first (and as far as I've seen, only) labor union to make workplace health and safety an issue in the upcoming presidential campaign.
While educating its members about their health and safety rights, CWA's Occupational Safety and Health Bill of Rights Campaign seeks to integrate workplace safety into the campaign by also illuminating the crimes of George W. Bush and the promise of John Kerry.
Check it out, and if you're a union member, talk to your leadership about adding workplace safety and health to your union's election year agenda.
