Law and order types like Revere over at Effect Measure are justifiably pissed off about a couple of crooks getting off scott-free after breaking and entering into Dr. David Egilman's password protected website.
Egilman, as many of you know, is one of the heros of Confined Space -- an occupational medicine physician and expert who regularly testifies in favor of workers and patients against chemical and pharmaceutical companies and has written numerious articles documenting the corporate coverup of evidence that their products kill. (See here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here.)
Egilman thought there was a law that protected little guys like him against that kind of activity. He was wrong. It only protects big corporations against computer theft by the little guys.
Who would have known? Silly us.
