2nd Confined Space Worker Dies

I wrote last week about two men who lost consciousness in a manhole due to oxygen deprivation, one of whom, Larry Dunning, died. It turns out that the the second man, Robert Hampton, 43, died the next day. Both men were employees of Employees of the Rittenbaugh Excavating and Paving of Phoenixville, PA.

As in the previous article, there is no mention in this article of OSHA's confined space standard, although the article states that OSHA is investigating. We'll see in about six months what the current price of two lives is.
