Palo Alto, CA - A construction worker who was part of the Stanford Stadium renovation crew fell to his death
on Thursday, officials said. The Santa Clara County coroner's office identified the man as Michael Carter,
26, of Stockton. Carter fell about 23 feet to the ground from an erected structure at about 9:35 a.m., according to Phil Capin, a construction project manager for Vance Brown Builder, the contractor in charge of the project.
