On Wednesday I was having breakfast with some business people who are leaders in an industry strongly supportive of the administration's regulatory and environmental policies. Many at the table had just watched Rumsfeld do a round of interviews on the morning TV shows.Well, if he's losing the support of the anti-regulatory, anti-labor, environment, workplace safety crowd, he's really in trouble.
They were, to use the president's word, "appalled."
Next thing you know, he'll start losing the conservatives columnists, and then his poll numbers are going to go through the basement floor.
